I too was reflecting on Rich's quest to visit every pub in Hull over his days there.
Considering there was no internet, even researching them and finding their location was quite a feat. Let alone getting round to them all. Not your usual student quest.
I have just done a google search which says there are 151 pubs in Hull. I'm sure there were more in the mid 80's.
I'll raise a glass in his memory.
